Solutions from the Frontlines

Why do we need nature?

12 May 2022 | 19:30 - 20:30 CEST
Virtual
Problem solving session/thematic workshop

The session will include the following: how urban life has separated a large number of human beings from our natural essence; how human behavior has contributed to an unbalanced way of life, as we have treated the planet as infinite when it has finite limitations, which we are now becoming aware of; climate change as an example of the consequences of our way of life, with evidence such as droughts, floods, species extinctions, soil depletion, and even pandemics such as COVID; how can we change our values to celebrate life in all its magnificence, and feel connected again to being part of the web of life? Brainstorming about what can be done to change (in smaller groups) and sharing ideas. What better scenario is there to propose paradigmatic changes than Catalyst2030 with so much diversity?
