Hecho por Nosotros and its guests will discuss how decentralized finance and new collaborations with MSMEs and indigenous populations can drive the systemic change necessary to reach the Sustainable Development Goals set by the 2030 Agenda. The event will focus on both theory and practice. The public will learn about the concepts and the current trends of advanced technologies such as Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) including Blockchain, and how they are expected to shape the industry. The panel will feature speakers representing perspectives from Latin America, Africa, and Asia, while showcasing the importance of integrating MSMEs to the global markets, and the solutions available. Discussion will be held around how capacity-building, technology and digital tools, education, and financial tools can promote inclusivity and sustainability in the fashion and textile industry. Additionally, speakers will be invited to give their opinion on how collaborative projects and initiatives can drive the agenda of sustainability, especially towards the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals 1, 5, 8, 10, 12, 13 and 17. Speakers will include such stakeholders as professionals in decentralized finance, traceability and transparency, artisans, and representatives from MSMEs.
