Problem solving session/thematic workshop

‘Knowledge of’ vs ‘ability to use’: Supporting refugees and displaced people to develop real-world English skills’: Arizona State University, the Connected Learning in Crisis Consortium, Mosaik, and the Centre for Literacy and Multilingualism at the University of Reading are hosting an event to identify the solutions and challenges of teachers who are supporting refugee learners to develop real-world English skills. The event will be an opportunity for teachers to share and exchange experience with a panel led by teachers of refugees, and in a participatory format to allow teachers in the audience to share their experience in response. Through panel and audience discussion, this event aims to start developing guidance for teachers (and other actors) for English teaching in the refugee context.
