Scaling across borders: Good practices and challenges to achieve the SDGs

ScaleChanger has been created following the observation that while many social and environmental solutions with compelling impact are emerging around the world, only a few manage to grow at a much larger scale to tackle significantly the problem that they are addressing when the scale of the problem is often national and/or international. Since its inception, ScaleChangers team has been working to support these social enterprises in their scaling up journey internationally. It’s a topic that is not yet well documented whilst it is a key way for organisations to scale their impact, so that their solution can reach a greater number of people. We will curate stories from social entrepreneurs highlighting the challenges, good practices and risks of scaling social innovations at the international level, from a strategic, organisational and financial point of view, while funders and local policy makers will testify to the support they can give them and the way they have built SSE ecosystems.
