Key topics: Eldership and what it means. You are invited to a conversation with the co-founders of the Elders Council for Social Entrepreneurs. They look back over the last two years of deep conversations with Elders from around the world to share what they have learnt about being an Elder and the whole question of getting older. What does society propel older people towards? Are these experiences universal? Is aging different for men as opposed to women? What is the view of young social entrepreneurs about eldership and succession? What part does money play in planning for transition and eldership? Is planning for eldership at the beginning of your social enterprise an unrealistic idea or a great plan? Can integrating succession planning into your whole organisation be an exciting and interesting part of your strategy or are you a ‘dead duck’ as soon as succession in mentioned?
