Expanding the definition of Learning

This session aims for the following take-aways: 1. Why we need to stop being short sighted about the way we look at learning outcomes 2. Why Social-Emotional Learning is a critical, yet underutilised pathway to achieving the SDGs 3. How SEL makes a difference (real data from Learning Curve’s acSELerate program) 4. Making SEL accessible to children – in school and at home The session will follow a ‘storytelling’ format – for each of the above impact areas: 1. Our biggest learning 2. The backstory – our experience, and how we’ve brought this to the system 3. Voice from the field (a short – 10-20 sec video story) 4. Our call to action (inviting governments and organisation to partner)
