Catalyzing Recovery of Social and Community Enterprises for Transformation (CRESCENT): A Global Initiative for Social Enterprise Recovery and Innovation Call to Action Set-up a global program and fund to assist social enterprises and their marginalized stakeholders to recover, to pivot and innovate towards building back fairer and to expand their coverage or create new ones in response to the challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic and its aftermath. Description of session The event seeks to present an initial concept note on the setting up of COVID-19 Catalyzing Recovery of Social and Community Enterprises for Transformation (CRESCENT) generate inputs from Catalyst 2030 members and partners specially from developing countries towards finalizing a concept note set up a Global Catalyst 2030 Working Group to pursue program development, resource mobilization and implementation Key topics will include Presentation of salient points of the concept note on setting up a COVID-19 Social Enterprise Recovery and Innovation Program and Fund (CRESCENT) Panel of Reactors from selected Catalyst 2030 members from Asia-Pacific, Latin America and Africa including representative/s from among potential donors Open Forum
