SDG Youth Wave

An Australasia/Kenya/USA collaboration proposal for the 2022 Catalysing Change Week, inspired by the Mexican Wave, to highlight our global young changemakers. Youth groups from chapters would present their SDGs initiatives to a wider audience and then pass the baton to another youth group in another country to present their initiatives and so on. Each group would have a dedicated room and timeslots where other groups that wish to collaborate with them would have fireside chats to build relationships and action. Depending on the number of groups engaging with the project this could be a 24-hour wave. Chapters’ role is to be the facilitators, working together with the youth groups that would take charge of the organisation.
