Those most affected by a social challenge are capable in thinking and finding a solution using the assets, gifts and talents already available to members of the community. Implementing their good ideas is important to achieving our collective goal. This was the case in Glass Factory, Liberia; we implemented SDGs 3, good health and wellbeing, by cleaning up the community by redirecting waste into drainage systems to reduce pollution and prevent illnesses. We spoke to the conscience of community residents, using a megaphone, about the health benefits of keeping the drainages clean and the importance of protecting them from getting clogged up, and how essential that is for the wellbeing of all residents.
