Amidst increasing geo-political conflicts, a rise in religious fanatism, widening wealth gaps, and the realities of entrenched racism, we are subject to an underlying crisis that threatens social justice – fractured relationships and indifference to suffering. We may make progress on the SDGs, but without attention to personal relationships and a culture of encounter, any progress will be short-lived and inequitable. This session explores how we, as social innovators, might realise a Global WE through mass mobilisation toward a collective practice of humanity. This is an exploratory brainstorm; everyone is welcome.

Lanska 5,3-odstotna gospodarska rast v evrskem obmocju in celotni uniji sledi 6,4-odstotnemu koronskemu padcu v 2020 v obmocju skupne valute in 5,9-odstotnemu zmanjsanju v vsej sedemindvajseterici.

The complexity of the SDGs requires the prioritization of systems and project collaboration over silos. Government, business, social profits, and citizens working together are especially important at the community level to ensure global issues are localized. A significant challenge is that collaboration requires a neutral catalyst and a new planning approach driven by more than data and tasks. Planning for issues as complicated as the SDGs requires that in addition to being driven by data and tasks, planning must be driven by stakeholders and citizens. Local government is well positioned to serve as a catalyst for this crucial holistic approach to community collaboration by emphasizing stakeholder and citizen relationship building. This session will share a practice-informed framework, strategies, and examples of projects and systems collaboration resulting from local government serving as a catalyst for transformation.

An interactive live demonstration of The Privilege Framework – a universally applicable open source community-driven assessment tool. Social entrepreneurs are aware that people have privilege when they are able to live with dignity. Inequity is measured by the numbers and the distance between the under-privileged and the over-privileged. We want a future that has harmony and thriving for the entire ecosystem. If every life form on the planet is given the same due as humans, then we begin to assess more than just human privilege. The Privilege Framework is being trialled by WG4:People Driven Development as a universally applicable open source self-assessment and response tool for a community. We invite you to be a co-creator.
