]]> Ahead of COP27 in Egypt, we call on Ministers of Environment to be part of the process of co-creating and committing to a South-South Alliance for Equitable Green Development together with social entrepreneurs. We welcome your thoughts on how best we can address the inequity of finance/ funding of climate-smart solutions, tap into the opportunities that climate management can provide for development and employment, and chart a pathway for the G7 and G20 to make a substantial and historical contribution. The South-South Alliance for Equitable Green Development will welcome engagement from those across sectors who not only pledge allegiance but demonstrate tangible action for change. Then the work will really begin to formulate an action plan for COP27 and beyond. We welcome you into this process.

Social entrepreneurs are aware that people have privilege when they are able to live with dignity. Inequity is measured by the numbers and the distance between the under-privileged and the over-privileged. We want a future that has harmony and thriving for the entire ecosystem. If every life form on the planet is given the same due as humans, then we begin to assess more than just human privilege. The Privilege Framework is being trialled by WG4:People Driven Development as a universally applicable open source self-assessment and response tool for a community. We invite you to be a co-creator.

]]> The workshop will present the concepts and connections of systemic innovation and climate action along with strategic thinking to build resilience systems with case studies, initiatives and solutions that will be present with us on the panel. The panel will also have a cross-cutting objective to inform and train participants in the core competencies of the future, such as digital and green skills. For this purpose, collaborative and interactive digital platforms will be used during the panel in order to foster teamwork and networking. Participants will learn about innovative programs, tools and resources to activate systemic innovation and climate action in their learning ecosystems and environments.

]]> We believe that a better world is possible, a world with universal access to essential healthcare, reduced inequality, more sustainable food supplies, transformed educational systems, and a greater emphasis on the long-term health of our planet. To achieve this, we need visionary and effective teams to guide government institutions and their partners as they navigate constant change, and we need to invest in leadership at the local level. Cultivating leaders and managers requires consistent collective action, prioritisation, and investment. And doing so is our best hope of re-energizing and achieving the SDGs. In this session, senior leaders in education, health, and the environment will discuss a new report by the High-Level Council on Leadership & Management for Development, and present practical examples about how to build the next generation of leaders across sectors.
